Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2)

Every time I am able to capture precious memories for graduates and their families, it is such an honor, but the 2016 graduates have made this a very memorable and nostalgic year.

2016 was such a special year that I just had to devote two separate blog posts to celebrate all of their accomplishments: this post and Friday’s post!

Another congratulations to the 2016 graduates!

Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2)

I have watched in awe as these three individuals grew from little 5-year-olds to the accomplished young adults they are today. Together, Lillian, Gage, and Jenna have attended Freedom Elementary School, Reyburn Intermediate School, and Clovis East High School. Now that they’ve completed K-12th grade, they will embark on a new journey! I have no doubt that these three will go far in life and I wish them nothing but the best!

Lillian Vang

Clovis East High School

In the fall, Lillian will be attending The Smittcamp Family Honors College at California State University, Fresno. There, Lillian will be studying biology in hopes of working toward a career in the medical field. When Lillian received acceptance into The Smittcamp Family Honors College I was so excited! For one, it’s a huge accomplishment! Secondly, that meant that she and my sister would have the opportunity to attend school together in the fall!

Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2) - Lillian Vang

Congratulations to Lillian for her success in 6 AP courses earning her place in the Top 20! Lillian graduated as a 2-sport varsity athlete, CSF Lifetime Member, National Honor Society Member of 2 years, Graduate of Academic Distinction, Principal’s Medallion Recipient, and Valedictorian! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young lady! I am also very excited that the Vang Family will be joining my family and me on vacation in Thailand this summer!

Gage Marquez

Clovis East High School

In the fall, Gage will be attending University of California, San Diego where he will be studying human biology. In San Diego, he will work toward his aspiration of becoming a cardiologist. Knowing Gage, he will achieve anything he puts his mind to and no one deserves it more. His parents are two of the nicest people I have ever met. So it’s no wonder that Gage and his brothers, Kylan and Chase, turned out to be so awesome! I could go on and on about how polite and generous and kind the Marquez Family is, but then there would be no end to this post! Instead I will just say that I am so grateful for their friendship.

Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2) - Gage Marquez

Congratulations to Gage for finishing high school strong with a total of 7 AP courses earning his place in the Top 20 with a 4.39 GPA. Gage graduated as a 2-sport varsity athlete, CSF Lifetime Member, National Honor Society Member, Key Club President, Graduate of Academic Distinction, and Principal’s Medallion Recipient. There is no doubt in my mind that Gage will succeed at UC San Diego as a Triton!

Jenna Aoki

Clovis East High School

In the fall, Jenna will be attending The Smittcamp Family Honors College at California State University, Fresno. At Fresno State Jenna will be studying biochemistry to work towards her goal of attending dentistry school. She one day hopes to specialize in orthodontia. When she isn’t focusing on her studies, Jenna will be 1 of the 4 freshmen on the Fresno State Cheer Team! Go dogs!

Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2) - Jenna Aoki

Congratulations to Jenna for completing 5 AP courses earning her place in the Top 20! Jenna graduated as a 2-sport varsity athlete, 4-year competition pep & cheer member, CSF Lifetime Member, National Honor Society Member of 3 years, National Honors Society President, Graduate of Academic Distinction, and Principal’s Medallion Recipient!

Class of 2016 Graduates (Part 2) - Jenna Aoki

As sisters, there are ups and downs, but at the end of the day you’re there for each other. Well, the same goes for us. Jenna can drive me crazy, but I don’t think I would have it any other way. I am extremely proud of where she has gotten in life thus far and I hope she continues to succeed. Great work Peanut, keep it up!
